Who we are

3G TYRES (PTY) LTD (registration 2013/192449/07, VAT 4610271530), trading as 3G Tyres, at Unit A2, Robertville Mini Factories, 255 Nadine Street, Robertville, Roodepoort, 1709. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here.

What we collect

• Details you send us through the quote form, WhatsApp, phone or email: your name, company, phone number, email address, the tyre sizes and quantities you need, and anything you write in your message.
• How you found us: when you arrive from an advert or a link, the page you landed on and the campaign details in the link (for example the source and campaign name, or an advert click ID). These are sent with the quote form so we know which adverts work.
• How the website is used: pages viewed, buttons tapped (such as call and WhatsApp), the device and browser type and an approximate location, collected with cookies and similar tools described below.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry with a price, and to supply, fit or deliver what you order.
• To keep records of quotes, orders and invoices, as the law requires.
• To understand which pages and adverts help people find us, so we can improve the website and our advertising.

We rely on your consent (the tick box on the form), on taking steps you asked for before a sale, on our legal obligations, and on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We do not use your information for any purpose that is not compatible with these.

Marketing

We only send you marketing if you have agreed to it or you are an existing customer, and every message gives you a simple way to opt out. Ask us at any time and we will stop.

Who we share it with

Your information is seen only by our staff who need it to help you, and by service providers who work for us under contract, such as the companies that host this website and run our email and enquiry systems. They may use it only to provide their service to us and must keep it secure.

Our enquiry system, ConvertX (HighLevel), records page visits and campaign information and links confirmed form enquiries to contact activity. When analytics and advertising tools are switched on, Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook and Instagram) also receive information about how the website is used, under their own privacy terms. We never sell your personal information.

Information sent outside South Africa

Some of these providers store information on servers outside South Africa. We use providers that are bound by laws, binding rules or agreements that give your information a level of protection similar to POPIA, as section 72 of POPIA requires.

Cookies and similar tools

The website uses cookies and similar tools from ConvertX (HighLevel), Google and Meta to measure visits, button taps and form enquiries, and to show and measure our adverts. These tools load asynchronously. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and Google offers an opt-out at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The website still works if you block them.

The map on our contact and Roodepoort pages is only loaded from Google Maps when you tap Show the map.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any order that follows, and records of sales for as long as tax and company law require. After that we delete or de-identify them.

How we protect it

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your information safe, including encrypted connections to this website and limited access to enquiry records. If we believe your information has been accessed without permission, we will tell you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to us using it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email admin@3gtyres.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

Children

Our website and services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
